Hello, I'm Brian.
I have been driving for over 30 years, travelling far and wide across this amazing country. I have worked in a variety of roles, and eventually had the opportunity to join a driving program that taught me how to connect with people in a very short time frame.
Years of local driving, long trips away, and working as a road representative have taught me many lessons that I am now proud to share with my students.
It was interesting to stop and think: What do we actually do when we drive? What are the real road rules? How do I explain them clearly to someone else? Whatever I did must have worked, because my students achieved great results and I became a highly requested instructor.
I believe in respect and honesty when teaching, and I aim to make every lesson as engaging and enjoyable as possible so that students can genuinely look forward to learning.
Going out on my own has allowed me to turn teaching into the most rewarding career I have ever had. I now provide driving lessons in Dubbo and the surrounding areas, supporting learners as they gain confidence on local roads.
I am fully insured, including professional indemnity and public liability, and my vehicle is equipped with cameras to ensure transparency and safety. Footage can be provided upon request should any issues arise.
I look forward to helping you become a safe, confident, and capable driver.
NDIS Driving
I have extensive experience working with students who have intellectual or learning disabilities, and I have found that most are absolutely capable of learning to drive and obtaining their licence, although the journey can sometimes take time.
While there may be challenges along the way, they can be successfully overcome with persistence, patience, and a positive, supportive approach.
I have achieved excellent outcomes with students whom others believed would never be able to drive. Please feel free to reach out — I would be more than happy to discuss your needs and work with you to develop a plan that supports your goals.
Overseas Licence
For anyone holding an overseas licence, I strongly recommend contacting Service NSW directly to confirm the exact steps required for your situation — for example, whether you need to complete the knowledge test, hazard perception test, driving test, or any other assessments. You should also confirm which proof-of-identity documents you will be required to provide.
Some countries require licence verification, so please ensure you complete this process in advance. It is far better to have this finalised before you are ready to book your driving test. This process is your responsibility, and only you can follow it up.
Please note that I will not book my vehicle for a driving test unless a lesson has been completed at least one day beforehand to assess your readiness. As a driving school, we are monitored by Service NSW, and while I understand the challenges some people face, I must ensure that my business maintains its standards and reputation.
